New Delhi, : In a moment of immense pride for Odisha and the nation, Shri Niranjan Bishi, Hon\u2019ble Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), has been conferred with the prestigious Dr. Ambedkar National Award\u20132025 by the Bharatiya Dalit Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi.The award was presented during the 41st National Conference of Dalit Writers, held at New Delhi, in recognition of Shri Bishi\u2019s commendable literary, social and cultural contributions dedicated to the upliftment of downtrodden, oppressed and depressed sections of society. The citation acknowledges his unwavering commitment to the ideals and mission of Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R.
